Here's the last of the Glock 21 conversions I did.  This one was finished in 2008, too.  I got a 6" threaded .40 Super barrel from LWD, one of their compensators and a heavier spring for this little project.  I don't even think LW makes the barrel or the compensator anymore.

At the time, Double Tap had properly headstamped brass for the .40 Super.  I bought a little supply of it then.  It's my understanding they've since discontinued it.  Starline was involved with the creative process of the brass specs and listed the brass as an option, but I've never seen it available.  Even today, it's listed as backordered.  That's concerning if ya want to build a stockpile of loaded ammo up.  Anyway, handloading was pretty straight forward.  I used a pretty stiff dose of AA#9 to get a Hornady 180 gr. XTP moving along at 1480 fps from this 6" barrel.  Smoke'n right along.     k

There all very cool projects.
The boy changes one of his 19lls from 45 acp to 45 super. It's bacily a 45 auto +++P.
Big difference in performance.
