Thumbs UpBig smile
1 .5 pounds of antelope burger.
4 red potatoes, peeled, boiled and mashed.
1 small onion
2 shredded carrots.
1 small can creamed corn.
1/4 cup heave cream for potatoes.
2 TBL spoon Worcestershire sauce.
1/2 cup salt free beef broth.
1 stick of butter
Brown the burger in a oven proof pan ( cast iron)
with some bacon grease add onions and carrots, cook to your preference and veggies are soft.
add Worcestershire and broth, let it cook down a bit.
Flatten it down add corn and potatoes.
Use half the butter in the potatoes.
Use a fork and scratch up the top and melt the butter and drizzle over the top.
Put it in to the oven and bake 350/400 for 30 minutes the last 10 under the broiler to brown the butter and toast the tips of potatoes.

Yep.  Starts tomorrow morning.

Just working around camp.  lots of snow here.  I-90 was closed then they opened it up, but no big trucks.
So now the truckers  are cutting around on I86, which is what I use.

Hunting from ground blind...sardines and Asparagus soup at lunch at my ground blind.

Still a toss up   30-40 Krag or 30 Carbine?

Late to this party but I think the 'ol Krag in 30-40 would be a great deer gun! I have my dad's but not taken it hunting since he passed.
