Yup this has to be the smallest, at least for me.
The BIG one is just a yearling.
I have a cat that's was as big.
The scull bones were not even fused together.
Some of the teeth are still not out, some are so small there like tooth pics.
It took three days of gluing to put it back together. Think of a 1000 piece gig saw puzzle all in white.
But it all came together, more or less.
I know the razzing I'll get for shooting a 2 or 3 month old Coyote.
But it was out hunting and it came in to a coyote sound, granted it was a pup call and it probably though he found is lost family.
And now we know it will not be out killing birds or deer. It would not have made it through the winter.
SO THERE!
And I have one more head to trade and another story.Big smile

Any port in a storm.

Was it a head shot?

Yes Most the bones in the scull were not fused together yet and the boiling made them come apart. I pulled the teeth out before I bleached it as to not loose any when I rinsed it off. It was not as bad as it sounded. I use Elmer's glue it dry's clear and give me time to readjust before it sets. It also fills in the gaps where it's needed. Clap

One baby deer killer that won't be out there killing baby deer and antelope.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.
