Driving around this week must have seen 50+ dead deer along the road. traffic kills.
seems the rut, with bucks chasing des push some into traffic. also, doe are now viscously driving this year's young bucks out of the clan. I assume this is to limit in-breeding. local Tv said it was because rabbit hunters with beagles are in the woods ....... not at all likely.
