Making some BIG spoons for muskies.

My thinking is to use a 7/0 to 9/0 hook, attached with a split ring.  I THINK I;m going to position the hook on the cupped (concaved) side of the spoon to limit weed pickup.  Soopns will be all silver polished look, actually ss plished.

any thoughts.

hooks will be dressed, white, yellow green, sort of perched  A few iwll be dressed in all white for a shad look.

Kind of like Thompson bass spoons.
They flip over and ride near the top or on top of the water. mostly weed free. I like silver ones with a chartreuse twister tail on the hook.Thumbs Up

twister tails add to any lure.  I like the tiger (yellow/black) or the all white.

White is the best for most any fish, the smallmouth seam to like the chartreuse.

I guess white is the most visible?
