Just checked the trip odometer......6,025 miles on the new Ford in 30 days.
visited: DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, s. Dakota, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, and again Southern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. tomorrow I drive to New York again.

Great time. Averaged 24.6 MPG. Enjoyed old friends and made some new friends.

I got to see lots of interesting sights, including: Flaming gorge, Arches NP, Canyonlands NP, Truman's home and grave site, the top of the ARCH, and a river cruse on the big extremely dirty Mississippi.

Beautiful country, lots of nice people too.

A month of hunting and sight seeing. It don't get much better than that.

Are you sure it wasn't about a half mile?

visited an Oasis with friends and drank local beer...great burgers. Actually, ate lots of burgers on the trip as I lost a tooth (cap) while driving around Shakey Town eating a celery stick.

Really enjoyed the Moab Utah area, so much to see, all beautiful. Canyonlands, Arches, etc.

Still cleaning rifles. Glad I got the elk butchered and processed out west; so much to unpack and clean. Found my range finder!

in a black case sitting on a black seat cushion. blended in perfectly. My dead brain thought I had packed it. And I took it out at camp from my gear box and set it on the seat.

Pete had suggested we do a total search of my SUV, he was correct. I had done two searches and was frustrated. could have saved $300 at the LGS.

I'm glad you found your range finder. I kept thinking I would find it the next time I set up my tent.

I'm with thedad. I wouldn't mind seeing pictures of your elk.
