I'd heard yesterday that the Thunder Bundle holder of the Blackfoot tribe had died. Curiously, that was also the first day this spring I had heard thunder, and I guess there was a pretty good thunderstorm on the Rez. I'm not finding any info on the web about his passing. Traditionally, the bundle was opened after the first thunder of the spring, in a day long ceremony. |

ric - yesterday's great falls tribune had quite a bit of information on
