Well the old wheels are headed to the National Kidney Foundation.  Took it to the dealer cause the engine light was on.  Seems that squirrels got in and eat the wiring harness.  About $1000 to fix, and no guarantee that it would run.

Bought a new GMC Envoy.  In line 6, with about 275 horses, should pull the boat.  Gas mileage sucks big time.

Broke it in Friday, got it in the mud to pull out a deer (8 point) then took it to the butcher shop.  Got blood on most of the gold interior, but the new car smell is still there!

Only way to properly break in a new vehicle.

Bear;

I find it hard to believe that there's a Mrs. Bear presently attached to you.  I'm not saying that that's either a good or bad thing.  I'm just saying that it's highly unlikely that you treated a new vehicle like that given a Mrs. Bear in the immediate vicinity.

29 years and she is still there (where???  here???)LOL

Interesting is that she really likes Mercury Cougars, Red ones.  The older models with the v-8s and rear wheel drive.  So WOW, I only need buy her a used car now and then.  I pay top dollar for pristine 5 -10 year old Cougars (a lot less than a comparable new one).  Presently she has a 35th anniversary model with leather interior; it had 50k miles and I paid $5500 for it in Buffalo, New York.  Pretty car and she loves it.  I also got a trip to Niagara falls to pick it up.

The last time we bought her a car about 18 months ago, I got feeling guilty and suggested a new Rivera (they look like Cougars)....she wanted the Burgundy Cougar. Tongue

Now if I only could get her to love, more Sakos, Weatherbys, Winchesters, and those Kimbers that follow me home from work!
