        Met a Nosler rep at the grand opening of the new Portland sportsmans warehose. (I left the creditcard home thank god !) I was going to buy a can  of RL-25 for the stw. He was giving away baseball caps widow stickers and Iron on jacket patces if you bought 2 boxes of bullets.  So i picked up a box each of 7mm 160 grain  and .338  225 grain  accubonds and the RL 25. 
    The BCs are outstanding on these bullets and the rep said he took a big mule deer with a stw and the first prototype 140 grain accubond. He said the next 2 to be released would be a 180 grain 30 cal and the 140 grain 7mm. The rep says they hold together well and are great game bullets. Well i am putting my money where his mouth is. I loaded 12 of the 7mm 160s over 79 grains of RL-25, and am going to the range tommorow. if they group worth a damn I,ll load up some more. I;ll let you guys know. How it goes. 	i'm still irked w/ nosler and their raising the price of their bullets, then stuffing half as many in a box... i hope they perform for you as hoped for. i'll stick w/ hornady and sierra, though.

	I'm an old fudddy dudddy, I only use 3 different bullets, 1st choice for game is the Nosler Partition, 2nd the Hornady interbond and 3rd would be a tie I guess between the accubonds and the BT's. I wouldn't spend a plug nickel on Swift and Barnes, the have got the last dollar from me they will ever get. Dan

	Tj; I'm hangin' my hat with Dakotasin on this one. For exactly the same reasons. By the way, how much are the AccuWallets selling for? Per box of how many? I'm using up the last of my .30 caliber 150 grain partitions & have one loaded round of BT, that came out of a box of 100. And that's the swan song for Nosler on my bench. Speer & Hornady are pretty much the way I go now. Never did feel the need to try Barnes or Swift. I understand that Barnes has made a major goof on the .300 Win Mag data in their manual also. Since I don't have their manual, can anybody else confirm that? 900F

	I paid 17.00 dollars for the 7mms and 23.00 give or take a few cents. for the .338s Both are boxes of 50. They are cheaper than partitions but more than the B-tips. I like sierra hornady and speers too. But the BCS on thes are good and I like to experiment. I like the Sieara 160 grain bthp game king in my STW But If I get a shot inside 100 yards, I don't think it will hold up. Corse I don't know if the accubaond will ether. Ill be shooting A hornady 150 grain in my 308 for mule deer this year. And a 165 grain speer in the 30,06. Also, Like leupold and uncle mikes Nosler is made in Oregon. We still have more than 8% unemployment here. I.ll le to ya know how they shoot ! ...tj3006

	My First range tes twith the 160 grain accubond in my stw was very exciting ! not as conclusive as I would like but I think I have a winning load right from the start ! I tokk 12 rounds with me loaded as follows. The 160 grain accubond over 79 grains of RL-25, federal mag primers well used remington brass. Oal was 3.60 Witch is the longest I could get to feed from my magazine. Well short of the lands. My frist shot was on the edge of the paper so i adjusted from the scope base. Well I screwed that up and by the time I git back to the center of the paper, i only had 5 rounds left. All the shots ,7 in all were within about 1/2 to 3/4 inch in elevation. Put up a new target and planed on shooting a 5 shot group. The first shot was in the bull a half inch from dead center. After firing the scond I thought i must have missed the target but I knew I could'nt have. After firing the third, I took a long look through the VXIII set on 14 power, and I knew I,d shot the best group of my life. I was not gonna mess it up by firing the last 2 shots. I put up another target and fired the last 2 rounds, but i was a little to excited. I pulled the first a lttle but still got the last two well inside an inch. I brought the target home and measured outside to outside .45" Subtracting caliber for center to center was .0166. I am amazed. I wish i would have had my chrnograph. The load is listed at 3300 fps on the Aliant web page. needles to say I aint changing a thing ! I,ll be loading more ! Just the same Soon ! ...tj3006
