 It's always good to take a look in the safe and see all the "toys" lined up, waiting for some action. Here's a peek at two of my three safes. Regards, Eagleye

Eagleye;

Do I espy a pellet flinger in there?  Whatcha got?  Do you like it?  I've been thinking that's just the thing I need for reducing the purple grackle population in my back yard.  Actually, I was thinking about a pellet pistol more than a rifle, not nearly as noticable.

Some of my neighbors are 'move-ins' & would come down with a serious case of the heebie-jeebies if they saw a long gun being used.  You know, the ones that can't tell the difference between Ma-deuce & a Marlin 60, lump 'em all together as 'machine guns'.

Eagleye.......very, very cool.  I'm trying to play "catch-up".

Regards, Marcus.

Here's one of mine.... found out you can get 12 in an 8-gun safe but you gotta take the bolts out to stack 'em in like this [the other four are hidden from view behind the jambs on either side]!

There’s that bottle of ‘whip-ass’. Looked all over last nite for that dude.  Used only for medicinal purposes.

The top RH is a S&W 1006(10mm Auto double action). Bought my son and me matching ones at the time of his return from ‘Desert Storm’.  His 8 year old son will some day get mine. A couple of years ago a young clerk at the nearby Gander Mtn said he is next in line to get one that gets traded in to their gun counter.

I have only one safe. The military ones are kept elsewhere.

900F; Yes, you DO see a pellet flinger in there. It is a Diana Model 34, and I love it!! A little powerful for chasing stray animals out of the flower garden though. Here in Canada, we have to register any that shoot over 500 fps, and this Diana qualifies. I have killed crows as far as 50 yards away with it, so it is fairly effective. I have a 4x Scope on it and have it zeroed at 35 yards. What you could not see in the picture, just to the right of the Diana, was my Ruger Red Label O/U. The rest in that top safe, from front to back are: M700C 6.5x55; M70XTR 6.5-06; M700ADL 264 Win Mag; M700C 7mmSTW; M70 30-338. Regards, Eagleye

Hey Dan, what is that gun with the green stock in the back of the safe? You have quite the collection in that safe. I think for a safe i will start off with a 80 dollar 7 gun safe.

Dan; What chamberings are your 700 VSSF's in? I have one in 220 Swift, and it is very accurate. Regards, Eagleye.

N-H, The 4th from the right is a Reminton 788 carbine [18 1/2" barrel] in 7mm-08 [The stock is a Ramline drop-in synthetic] Here's a better pic of it:

The two shorties are Remington Model 7's. One's in .308 [top with Leupold compact 2-7 scope] and the other is a .223 [bottom with Bushnell 1.5-4.5x32mm compact scope]...

Regards, Marcus.

I hate the Ramline stock i put on my Winchester 94. BIG MISTAKE. They are just too plasticy. It seems to be made out of the same material as the stock on the m16, which sucks! Well, at least that is my point of view.

NH;

Try Hogue & see if they have one for your '94.  I'm pretty confident that you'll like it a lot better than the Ram-Line.

SHIT!!!!!! I had to undergo a CIA investigation to log in, but I hope I don't have to do it again. I hope we're back on track so that we can raise hell and put a post under it.

The safes look nice, but I fear that I'd have to buy a bank to store all mine. I still don't know how to post pics, and I don't have a digital camera. (My wife is afraid that I'll post pis=cs of mt "turkey neck" I guess.) anyway, I'm back, in force. If any of you can get together with me in the future, I'll bring whatever you want to shoot. Use your imagination, I no longer buy guns that I need, I buy guns that I don't have...........Kingpin

That rifle is a 375 H&H pre 64 Winchester, I have killed several brown bears with it. I'm the one holding the bear down.

There's only one VSSF in the picture and its a 223, there are 2 Sendero's, 1 in 300 ultra and one in 25-06. The other flutted barrel is a Shilen DGA rifle in 220 Swift.

Mike,
That was a movie that ought to be mandatory viewing for all of us here. I plan to take it to work and make them all watch it during an extended lunch hour. I believe I will do it tomorrow.

Hi Dan - Glad to see you back on BSB. [Hey, we gotta do something about that NH kid - you see his post count??] Anyway, if you get a chance could you post a pic of your T-3? I haven't yet seen one. How does it compare to the "Whitetail" series? Why did you decide to get one? How do you like it?

I am just wondering why Tikka brought this one out? Are they going to discontinue the "Whitetail" series?

Thanks in advance....

Regards, Marcus.
