I'm telling you if your a gopher don't be foolish.
Never, never ever get in front of the L-G-D! If your a gopher just don't do it.  She cleaned our clock, the 17 hmr was HOT today. In my defense I did get one with my 10/22 at 139 yards one shot. Hers where all 100 plus. She was trying some at 150 ish, did not get as many but still WAY more then me.

Interesting to note where pic was taken, not a single blade of grass. I can find PDs and gopher field from satalite, google earth! they really eat EVERYTHING.

It has been a rough few years for sure.
This particular area is "Short grass" prairie that has never been broken up EVER.
