Just taking a walk along the river with Papa and grandma and she still can catch fish.  |

When they discover boys, the daddy's girl disappears in most cases. After having five girls and two grand-daughters I think I have a clue. Turns out they come back as women in their mid-20's, matured and changed, with memories of those moments spent in the youthful stages they wish they could have back. It's unfortunate there is a decade or so between those times that we are a burden and unwanted. I consider myself a lucky man to have them all come back with good memories, too many these days don't. Glad to see you are making the good ones with your granddaughter. They are the ones they will keep with them.

The duct taped in a closet with the daily pancake under the door trick?
Have my granddaughter and two youngest at a local hole yesterday, refuse to pay to post up a pic, so let me just say, no fish were had, caught several tree and the rare pine branch bass....no keepers. Even the dreaded folding chair pike was snagged, but the grandy is 4 and still learning. Wife and the older daughter for some reason found all the action amusing.....Have to admit, it was. |
