I was able to get in one quick stand after work yesterday evening. I got lucky and howled in a triple. Of the three I was able to put two on the ground. I just couldn't quite get a shot at the third one. Almost did, had it hesitated just a half a second more I would have dumped it, but it didn't, and I didn't. However, of all the coyotes I've killed this season, this is one of the prettiest. She's a gorgeous heavily furred mature pale colored female. This coyote was in heat by the way, so the breeding season is started. She might be pretty, but I'm sure she's killed her share of deer and taught her young to do so as well. Nice to have her no longer roaming the hills.

What pretty looks like boys...

d4570, I really like it. I also have a CS-24B. I've worn 3 other CS-24's completely out. In other words if I'm on my fourth CS-24 I must like them and I do. It took me a little while to warm up to the Shockwave, but once I got the hang of it, I really prefer it. It has absolutely clear stereo sound. I really dig the directional speakers, and the TX-1000 remote is worth buying it for alone. I will admit it's a little heavier than my CS24, but not much. It's also a little over engineered. I use a couple of the features like FoxBang and Presets, but I just don't see me using a lot of the other features a whole lot. Nice to know they are there if I want to use them, but I like to keep things simple overall.

YUP!
Almost exactly our opinion too.
There is definitely a learning curve for sure.
Do you do any "Sequences"? We NEVER call the hole set we have a LOT of blank time between calls.
You look taller than we are is your bi-pods tall enough? I added 6" to the bottom section. that lets us use them on a side of a coulee and in deep snow.

I do my own sequences but don't have any pre-programmed. I do it that way so I can change things up if I want to. The bipod is a Harris. If you found a way to add 6" to a Harris bi-pod I would love to know how you did it???!!! When I sit on a stand I deploy my Harris at it's lowest setting for prone shots and have the rifle actually sitting in a Bog Gear Bi-Pod. See photo. That way if a coyote hangs up I can lay down and take a prone shot with minimal movement. If the coyote is within 200 yards I just use the Bog-Gear.

I used a replacement tent pole. the metal flutes that put it together fit "Just right over the lower section of the pods. I ran a cord up through it and attached it to the last section. I can pull them and use it as original or leave them on and only use one section pulled out. I used 6" and put snow baskets on them to use in the snow. You can take them off to when you don't need them.
Problem is they stick in the way when folded up so there is no "OFF" hand shooting.

Interesting. I sure wish Harris would upgrade and make a longer option. What I hunt the full length which I think is 29" is almost never long enough. Nice looking TC rifle btw.
