I use photobucket and im able to post pictures (finally), but when i delete the picture in the photobucket account to make room for more pictures, the picture i posted disappears. Can this be corrected? What am i doing wrong?

Thanks for any advice.

Photobucket is the "host". Basically when you post a pic from there on a web site it's sort of a live link to that pic. When you remove that photo off photo bucket this live link is gone and so is the pic. On some sites like BSB you can upload a pic from your computer by using the button with the tree and the blue arrow. Once it's posted here it stays.  I use villagephotos and for about five bucks a month I can store thousands of pics.

any program sauch as MS paint, photoshop or MS picture viewer can reduce it for you. another thing you can do is email it to yourself through out look and it will usually reduce the picture for you for emailing (it will ask if you want to make picture smaller.

if you're still having trouble after that, email it to me at fischer(at)mtintouch.net and i'll get it fixed for ya!

very, very nice looking rofle, VC.

one thing you can usually do when resizing yur pictures is to size them according to pixel size. a width of 800 pixels usually fits just right on most comptuer screens!

I have a Kodak easyshare, album that i load all of my pictures from my camera to the computer. There is no pixel selection in this program, can i move it to another folder and select pixel size? if yes, howdo i do it?

Sorry to be such a pain, but im trying to understand computers, and how they work.

no pain at all, VC - the only way to learn is by asking and doing.....besides, when i get my shell holders and start loading, i'm going to be asking a lot of questions myself!

the way i remember kodak easyshare, the album should (might) have some sort of photo editor. i can't remember the name, but it will allow you to crop pictures, adjust the lighting and color, etc. along with that should be a resize feature.

another thing you can do is copy/paste the picture onto your desktop and open it with MS paint or another similar program. either way works (and there are probably several more), it's like taking two different routes to get to the same destination.
