Hello guys, what are you going to hunt this fall? I am going to hunt birds of as many kinds as are available for me to hunt, whitetails, and some boar and elk in an annonymous(?) location.

in order of season openers...

-rifle prairie dogs -bowhunt whitetails -rifle antelope -shotgun ducks/geese -shotgun pheasants -rifle mule deer -rifle whitetail -rifle predators (fox/'yote)...

then that will bring me into spring, where i'll start load development on whatever new rifles i have aquired in preparation for doing it all again...what a cycle!

Hunting is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that.

Well lets see. Black bear opens Aug 1. Cougar about the same time. Long season on the cats. Goes until March 2004. For deer I'm taking a weeks vacation to chase and annoy hopefully in this order Mule deer, whitetail , and if I must blacktail. Grouse and bunnies open in Sept. goes to Dec. I think. F&G has been changeing things around again.

After last year's test run at sitkas, and subsequently finding out how tasty the lil buggers are, i'm definately going to go after two or three of those tasty little mini-mulies.

Same ol' thing fer me.  Elk, deer an' prarie goat.  No moose or sheep.  May not hunt at all next year if I don't git a moose tag.  I'm thinkin' I'll do elk horns real serious this year, then maybe mulie horns next.  If I kill Merlin this fall, I really ain't got a good reason to hunt more 'an cows from here on.  Only hunt lopes to git some exercise.  May hold out fer a trophy or do it with my muzzleloader.  Hard to keep gettin' motivated year after year with the same three tags.

NH,

Mulies, Whitetail, pheasant, quail, duck, rabbit.

Muleskinner,  Have you ever bow hunted?  I Know some land over this way with some trophy class whitetails on it.  They run up into the mid 200 lbs, but you can only bow hunt them.  Wish I had some goats fer ya come come chase thisa way, unless ya like pheasant there much else here, sides them deer and meeger critters I mentioned.

Already shot one big Black Bear, will try for another in the fall. First will try for an Elk, then comes Moose, hopefully will have one down by Oct 1. Beginning of November comes whitetail and mule deer. If [big if] I draw a sheep, I will be after that in mid-August. Bison in December if the draw comes through. Blackpowder doe muley in December also [sure thing, this one].I love my province! Eagleye.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level & then beat you with experience!
