is this striclty a trout-fishing river? anyone got any pictures?

hope to go to colorado sometime next year to visit family in canon city, and maybe drop in on pocketnavy in the springs and chat with him over a giuseppe's pizza. usually, we always drove down the itnerstate, but i would like to take a route that is a little further west, if possible, and see some of the places that are famous up in that north-central region.

I am posting incognito . . . using a different color.  That should do it!  Cache la poudre is an excellent fishing stream.  I believe a certain portion of the river is still reserved for "real" fishermen . . . fly fishermen that is . . .

Of course, the Arkansas ain't too bad either . . . I like the Taylor and Gunnison even more . . . and the Rio Grande . . . and and and . . . maybe when I get old and retire . . . maybe 80 . . . I can go fishin' all the time.

Taz;

If you take the road South out of Laramie Wyoming to Ft. Collins, you will come to the turn off up the cache.  It used to be sport bike heaven, never even tried to find out if there were fish in there  & couldn't have cared less one way or the other.  But I'm here to tell you that the road is a gas!

we gotta take you fishing. club you over the head and just TAKE YOU FISHING!!!!!

you wake up in a lawn chair with a bud lite () between your kneews and a zebco 33 spincast combo in a rod holder at your side. the tip of the rod will be jerking around with a big fat northern at the other end, and by the time you're done reeling it in, you'll be a man, son......
