Think I need a moving decoy for 'otes. I have a number of syn fun ones I use and pull to get some movement with fishing line. thinking of making a moving one for some type of battery operate (cheap) kid toy or cat toy. prefer on that uses a single d-cell.
any suggestions? |

Fox pro make one but it's $$$$ We use a cats toy too works just fine, we have a cottontail skin over it and peace of welding rod to lift it up over the grass. Our "Kujo" coyote decoy works better. |

It is that AA battery cat toy I'm getting. Keep it simple is my moto.
Used one before for bobcats, worked good, on cats, 'otes and coons. Starting to get ready for some coyotes before turkey season. Our local vegatation is thick, so you need a distraction if something comes to the call. I'd love to hunt where you can see 400+ yards and watch them come in. I fugure 10 come to the call before I see one first in the thick brush. I've started opening a can of cat food under the decoy, just to try to get them to come closer. |

Here is the one I used to use, before the hawk swooped in and stole it. I will tether the next one to something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKXJnRyR5ok You can build 2 or 3 at the same time and have a spare in your truck when out hunting. bob
