leavin out sat mornin to do a little prep work at the lease, putting down some ant bait so that our camp isn't over run by ants, the land owner planted maize and sunflowers this year looking forward to a good hunt!

 Our Dove season starts sept 1st!!

 All upland and fall turkey starts that day !!!!!

yea ours is sept 1 also, I'm going to take care of some stuff around camp (ANTS) so as to have a much more pleasant camping area!

We open Sept 1st as well, but with temps being 100-106 lately, I bet we won't see any action until late in the afternoon. I can remember as a teenager, Dove's would fill the sky at the noon opener. Now, with the intense Sun rays and heat we don't see much action until 4pm.

four more days and i'm outta here! it's hot here also 98 to 102 easy! hunting fields early in the mornin, ponds in the evenin, and whatever during the day! limit is 12 per day total bag of 24! come on friday!

hey that's some nice looking dove there! mourning, whitewing or eurasian? that looks like alot of fun, sure would like to hunt some grouse!

 Did you get any doves on your hunt?

lol yes I know Iwas alluding to the fact that it's dove season, your holding grouse!

I got 14 birds my boy got 11, had alot of fun, picked off a couple of turtles out of the pond with the 17hmrs

going to a different place on friday, gonna do some scouting for deer season, and may try to call in a yote too, guy says hes got sunflower fields so dove should be there, we'll see
