The wind was straight, almost west, a little harder then I like but you have to do it when you can.
I took my bench and big target stand. I can get 6 targets on it spaced as to not get a flyer on the wrong target.
 3006, 110 gr V-max.
Testing Varget 3000 to 3450 FPS.

I made some "shooting" wedges. There filled with Styrofoam bead and weigh less then a pound and a half. Easy to carry. We can lay on them on our backs, and it makes it easer to sit up and shoot. We can also lay prone and shoot off them too.
Have yet to test them.

That's showing some good promise. Is the red square one inch? It kinda looks smaller.

I like the wedges. Be sure to let us know how they work out.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

The red SQ is 3/4 inch.
#2 and #1 are about an inch.
There going around 3500 fps ish.
The wind was blowing about 15 mph but not very sideways more over my shoulder I was moving a bit, probably not the bullet.
The wedges should work as expected.

OK up date.
110 gr Vmax 3006.
I Took them out on a P dog "test".
We were shooting like 250 to 320 yards at 3" moving targets with slight but variable breeze and 65* about 3000 feet.
I was hitting about 1 in 3 shots.
I think with a little more "Work" behind the trigger they will work just fine. To much recoil to see a hit.
I kind of expected the v-max would have had a bit more explosive reaction.
They seam to kill them ok but no big splash. They may be going right through with out exploding.
???
Going to be fun.Big smile

"vargets "

That's what we loaded them with, vargets,58 grs of them

The load seamed to shoot great.
Plenty of recoil after about 100 shots, a person will need to take a coffee break to let the blood back in to your shoulder.
I was not able to get the shells to come out of the rotary clip in to the chamber. It worked ok if I only put in two and hand feed one in to the chamber, it holds 4.
It is new even with the dog trip maybe a hundred shots. The # says it was shipped in 2016.
I sent an email to Ruger to see if they will back there clip. They cost $40/$50 bucks to replace.
We will see no answer back yet.Confused
