How about , 17 HMR?
Way cool we just went shooting it. 100 yards slight breeze slightly to our right and almost straight in our face. Ten shot groups about quarter sized.
I would say that will work.
AND unlike the poor design of a savage 50 rounds and not one fouled up feed. 
It looks like my L-G-D will have some competition now out gopher shooting.
I'll have to look for some more 17 ammo...

We may or may not have something screwed on the end that is very quite.?.?Big smile

You shot PDs one year with my son, he was using H Barrel cz in 17HMR.  Explosive out to 150 yds, IF no wind.

GD will have a ball.

Actually she has a 17hmr bolt savage that is a lightning bolt. This one may be mine...Wink
