in your experience, who has been hands-down consistently best in customer service, for any rifle or shooting-related product?

for myself, i would have to go with LEE, although sightron, simmons and CZ have also been very good. tasco was extremely helpful, but maybe that was because they were about to go out of business anyway? sierra and hornady were also up to the task when i needed some assistance from them.

in short, i don't think i have ever had a BAD experience, just some that were better than others.

  Ruger ,hands and shoulders above the rest. Simmons fast,no double talk and always sends better than you send if they are outta stock on something.

  Lets get down to the absolute worst, REMINGTON,well at least I can count on them for that. LOL

Under these catagories;

1.] Rifles/Shotguns - Weatherby(with Ruger a close second)

2.] Optics - Leupold & Burris (tied)

3.] Reloading Equipment - RCBS

Enough for now.  Lawdog

i think sierra has got to be the best. even if you aren't using green boxes, they'll still help ya out.

rcbs is excellent and fast.

Only costumer service call I've ever made was to Hornady hoping that their tech's could give a reasonable opinion on why their 162 gr. BTSP Interlock wasn't holding together on game when used in my Laredo 7mm STW.  They were more confused with what I was seeing then I was.  I wouldn't call this a bad expereince, per-say     ...     just didn't get any answers out of them.

Other then that, I've never called in with a complaint or problem.  Later.  >>  klallen

RCBS is very good. I've called them for different diameter expander plugs for cast bullets, and have recieved them with no charge. They also are great at replacing anything that may fail, which happens darn seldom with RCBS.

Tapco has also done me well. I had ordered a dozen magazines for my HK G3. I had called them first to check on the quality, and was guaranteed although used, they would work in any HK. When they arrived, four wouldn't lock up. I gave them a call, and they sent four more, and didn't want the others returned. So, I did a bit of file work, and made the others also work, ending up with 16 magazines.

Fella's;

Guns, for me, Winchester.  Optics, Leupold, hands down THE best.  Other equipment, Dillon, & they are probably the best of the batch if I had to pick one from all the aspects of the shooting sports.

MEC gives outstanding service on their shotshell reloaders. They'll even have a tech walk you through adjustments on your reloader over the phone as you try to clear up problems. RD

By the way, Stiener sucked on a deal with me this past winter, and have heard other problems with them.
