Hey Guys

 I'm looking at one of these in .32 H&R Mag, either style with 2 boxs of Fed. ammo.$350 out the door. The guy said I could also shoot .32 sw and ,32 sw longs.  Just for plinking with a little more the a .22.  Anybody ever have a .32?

I bought the first Ruger SA I ever saw in .32 H&R. Guy bought it, shot 25 rounds of .32 S&W long, and traded it back to the dealer. I bought it the next day for $125 (this was just a few years back!)

 My favorite small caliber handgun, the .32s are very easy and cheap to load for.  The original 95 grain JHP Federal load beat all standard pressure .38 Special loads in terms of energy. Great for small game and plinking.

The only thing that would make your choice better would be adjustable sights.

Buy it.

I guess if I were choosing, I'd take the top over the bottom.  Grip on the bottom one don't really look natural to hold, the way it folds in at the bottom.  I imagine the round would be a fun one to plink with.  If one fell into my lap at the price TG paid for his, I'd certainly own a .32 H&R Mag right now  ;o)  .  Later.  >>  klallen

Tikka;

Like others here, I'd own one without a second thought if the right deal came my way.  I, too, would prefer the adjustable sights.

  Do ya'all think thats too much $$$ for the whole thing OTD ?  The grips on both feel really good to my amasment. I alwys like the plow handle, but the birds head is kinda good feeling,almost feels like it would just roll back in your hand with the recoil. Thanks guys,I guess I outta check out the price of empty beer cans.

I like the birds handle.  The only one I have like that is an old 32 short (nothing like the 32 h&R mag), which I never shoot any longer.

My dad does. I shot a bunny with it a few years back. Fun little caliber, but good luck finding commercial ammo.
