Way to go BS.  My monitor sucks, but the picture turned out much better on this site.  I am not a turkey expert, but that looks like an eastern to me.  Do you have some over your way? or were you hunting somewhere else.

Mtmiller, he's a Merriams. It hard to tell but his tail is white tipped on most of the feathers, they sort'a get lost in the background. You asked at another site what gun I used. I used my beat up old Remington 80 wingmaster that I've had since I was 12. I added the tape and this poor old shotgun has seen some tough duty, but it keeps on truckin. Here's a photo of Ol' Reliable hisself and the turkey from this morning.

Great birds Big Sky, and some super photos.

I've got 3 more weeks till our season opens.  I've got my second heart surgery scheduled for this tues.  I'm hoping to get the pump fixed before I can get into the mountains.
