Seems like we will need to adjust to spending $1 per round in the new Biden economy.

Right now, some ammo is on shelves, but about $1.50 per round.  I expect it to slowly work down to $1 over the remainder of this year.

Seems shooting will be an expensive hobby.

IN FACT
We are trying to develop lead cast loads for as many of our chamberings as we can. 223, all the pistols, 30 waters, 30/30, 45/70, so far.

This month started loading hard cast  180 gr flat nose (Penn Bullet) in the 30-30 Marlin.  Using 17 gr of   imr 4227.

Getting   three shot touching at 50 yards.  Surprising as the Marlin has Micro-groove rifling (thin).

Thinking of it as a hunting load so to keep energy high, I went to a heaver bullet not traditional 150 gr.  might try some 200 gr next.

I think it will still be cheaper to reload than buy loaded ammo. The problem is primers have at least doubled in price and bullets and powder have gone up quite a bit. I have been seeing some powder on the shelves and one store here has had Federal large pistol match primers (for $10.99/100) they have been there a while. and very few bullets.

I need bullets. I have started looking online for bullets and have found some at Precision Reloading and Blue Collar Reloading. I can finally work up a 90 grain loads for my .243.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.
