Read your other post, TJ3006.  Sounds like things are certainly a "go" for these AccuBonds.  At least in your STW.  Great groups.  Got me all jacked to get the Warbird rolling now.  When I feel like loosening up the shoulder, I'll have to break out the Retumbo and see what these 200's will do.  Was happy to hear you mention that 180 gr. .308 AccuBonds are in the works.  Curious what their BC will be in relation to the .507 of the 180 gr. Ballistic Tips.   Guess we'll find out in time.  Later.  >>  klallen

I bet that 200 grain bullet in a warbird would really be impresive. I keep seeing good deals on model 70 Lt sporters in 300rum. Not a war bird but impressive anyway. It should shoot as flat as the stw if not flatter. And no question it would hit a lot harder on both ends . And If I din't like it I could allways rebbarel it...

Hey TJ3006  >>  Looks like I'm gonna jump into the AccuBond waters a little sooner and with a different gun than anticipated.  In the search for a higher BC than the 140 gr. BST's can offer, I've been working with some assorted bullets.  Well, the 160 gr. AccuBonds are up for the 7mm RUM.  Got a box of them today and will start the development tomorrow am.  Hope they offer more than the Hornady A-Max and Sierra GK's did.  Later.  >>  klallen

TJ,

I'd be interested in seein how it's terminal performance is, but I'd also need to know the range (approx speed of impact) and what you muzzle vel was.  I have a 300WSM, and am now building my 180 gr test loads.  So far I am lookin at Sierra, Nosler, and Hornady.   Just might post a range report but I won't be shootin it fer a couple weeks.

I,d love to hear what your WSM does. I hope I have som Terminal performance data for you this year, although I may end up shooting sierra's 160 grain bthp game king it shot real well today and its suposed to be a tougher bullet than the regular sierra game king or prohunter. I got 3225 from the Nosler over the chrony today...
