I'm using IMR 4350 in my .280.

I've been an IMR guy for 40+ years. In the last 4 years I've been slowly and happily changing to Varget. I now use it in 243, 308, 7x57, and 260. It has proven to me to be very evern burning and accurate. I stilll use IMR 4064, 4895 and 4831 alot, especially in the Weatherbys, Rum and 416 rem mag. I'd guess it would do just fine in the 7mm Express, no reason not to do so. |

I use Varget in my 7-08 with 139 and 140 gr bullets. I have very good results. I don't see why it wouldn't work in a .280 as their very close to the same size.

i still need to buy powder and start development. i am looking for something that will work adequately in .30/30, .308, 7x57 and .280 -
i know that nothing will be perfect for all four, but if i can find something that performs consistently and adequately for all four, it will be quite satisfactory for my hunting purposes. |
