It's been a while since I've done any 'yote hunting and haven't got any in the time I've had a digital camera. I thought I'd try and post a few pics I have from my 35mm camera.
On the first two shown I used my A-Bolt, and the third was using the Rem 700, both 223. Here's a closer shot of one.
This next little guy was taken with my 10/22 22lr at about 70 yards. Had Mini-mag HP's in it. He was trotting downhill to get away from me, and ended up at the corner of a fencline. My first shot struck the dirt in front of his nose, causing him to turn and run, the next shot hit in front and he reversed himself again. This went on for 9 shots. He finally jumped the fence and as he did my last shot hit him in the chest and he dropped stone dead. I felt like I'd been playing some kind of pinball game, and was real glad the magazine had been full. (This is how he looked when I set him in a spot for the other animals to have dinner.)
Feel free to add any of your own pics here if you like. |
