Glad to be here. Hunt Florida and Pennsylvania mostly. Encountering alligators in the Florida swamps is different, as I am relatively new to Florida hunting. It’s kinda exciting and glad they didn’t catch me off guard and turn me into a meal-lol. One guy had his leg mangled by one this past season. I encountered two monsters this past season by the canals. Hey I figure who ever said hunting had to be safe? Snakes? Rarely a day went by that I didn’t see one. Too bad I didn’t see as many hogs I was looking for-lol. Saw a few doe my second day out but the WMA only permitted bucks that time of the season. This alligator thing is pretty exciting though, especially knowing you are prey.

Welcome to our little abode. Not much for hunting alligator or hogs up here in wilds of MT but we are having a record year for Grizzly bear incidents. We do have a BEAR in Pennsylvania. And a Kingpin in Virginia beach. And a few from Wisconsin and Minnesota don't cha know. What part of Florida are you in , like I would know any difference. What do you shoot at them alligators? Thew and Big Pigs are on my bucket list.

Welcome Vinootz. I'm also a PA/Fla hunter, with some NY/WY/Mt thrown in.
Fla is great fun, I usually hunt pheasants and boar. My sbake proof chaps and boots let me forget, somewhat, the canecutters, etc. Looking forward to your future posts. We are a small group but dedicated to shooting/reloading fishing and having fun. Every year we have a get together in Montana, to shoot PD and gophers. Usually in the spring; we call it MYGAWDS (Montana Yearly Gopher And Wine Dinner Society). You are welcome, would like to meet you. Welcome again.
