I lucked out! a few years ago I got in the drawing for an Idaho Shiras Moose tag, Ist time I ever tried and I got picked, The application allowed two people to ut in so when I got drawn my brother in law got drawn with me. I got a nice bull and my brother in Law  got one that made the Idaho book. Don't give up, it can happen.

I'm not sure if it would help here. I don't remember the drawing odds but it's pretty low.

It's kinda like that here too. I know guys that have been putting in for Moose for close to 40 years and haven't got one.

They started having preferance points for them. I missed out the first couple of years on that. That pretty much makes it not worth while for me.

The boy got a moose tag for here, it only took 28 years.
His wife got one after only 10 years.
I put in from 12 years old, I stoped when I turned 60.

Been doing it for 25+ years.  never even close.

I consider it a conservation donation!
