Same thing when I see a topic on BSB..."what would CB say?"

Same thing on the CZ site.

Now I got a gun safe problem (one of the ones he correctly called 'junk'...I should have listened.

Good people are always missed.  Hope you, your mom and sister are doing good.  regards

I haven't been on BSB much in the past couple of years. So sad to hear of CB's passing.

I know it's already been a year, but just want to say I hope he's resting in peace.

Regards, M.

CB died August 25th 2017, Peter... not sure what sort of new info there is. MYGAWDS will continue being an annual event the last weekend of April.

I have the Knob Creek covered. Two bottles of his and I'm not much of a whiskey person. I think it only fitting to share it amongst the MYGAWDS Boyz.

Merry Christmas ands a Happy New Year, everyone!

Good to hear it IBD.

Gary, Tom...I'll buy the first round, as long as it is Knob Creek.

I don't know if he wants it to be kept "anonymous" or not, but someone donated a substantial amount to the forum yesterday in memory of Jim, and I wanted to thank him very much for that. Hug

A similar thing happened at MYGAWDS this year.

We were leaving the resturant after eating breakfast we went out to my pickup and for some reason I went to the passenger side and the door was locked. I don't usually lock my doors so i'm also not used to taking my keys out. Of course my keys were in the ignition.

Knowing Jim was a master locksmith and about to leave, I quickly went over to his pickup and asked for his assistance.

After saying whaaaat? and rolling his eyes, he came right over to help. He walked up to the passenger side, tried the handle and sure enough it was still locked. He then looked in the window, walked around to the drivers side and opened the door.

He then gave me the biggest smile I could imagine. I told him he was the "Master" and we got in our vehicles and left.

I still, to this day, have no idea how only one door got locked, but was happy that our gopher hunt wasn't delayed by my carelessness.

He never did give me a hard time for that one, but by all rights he probably should have.
