I haven't loaded in years....ok....over a decade now and to be honest, I don't miss it. At the point where I like to keep the noggin well dusted off and that's stuff I haven't used in a long time so it's clutter in my head deserving of the bin. Turns out I haven't entirely lost the taste to shoot though and the empties have piled up a bit. So my buddy from work offered to lend a hand and so it's off to the bench with the 50 and 1200 empties to sort and figure a load. I somehow forgot just how much powder and primers cost! Used to be for a hundred bucks I had quite the pile, now I can't get an 8 pound of H110 for much under a buck and a half! Primers?...Lets not even go there. Boolets where always the big cost. Bulk is the way to go I guess. I still have a k or 2 of the 7 to load, a k of .375, and 2k of .308.....May have to sell a kidney again!
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!

Becareful selling the second kidney!

Everythings gone up.  But I still remember making $7,000 a year and living pretty good, including lots of reloading stuff.

Welcome back to reloading.

I get a sense of satisfaction from reloading. I have been loading a lot of pistol rounds lately, but need to load some rifle rounds before hunting season.

My daughter is going to hunt elk and antelope with me for the first time this year. I just got a scope on her rifle and will be working up a load starting this weekend.

Components have gotten really expensive, but I can load better ammo cheaper than store bought and I like doing it.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.
