For the last 5 days I've been painting the inside walls on the new garage, looks great.  just hung a new Fire Extinguisher.  9' ceilings so lots of ladder and pick climbing..legs were shot at end of each day from standing on concrete.

Sunday is no hunting day here, so I only lost 4 days of archery deer hunting.  It has been getting colder every day....so at 4pm I'll be in my stand!

Bear  your making us all look very lazy and under achieving...
I'm just sitting around waiting for the landline phone guy. All the rain we have gotten is affecting my phone, all under gumbo lines.
I did how ever make my chokecherry jelly as I wait.
He is here working out side in the mud, hahaha.
I'm giving the jelly its water bath as we talk.
We are two weeks away from deer and elk season.ClapClap

I like house projects that only last a day or two.

I think I have a short attention span.
I have always considered myself to be quite the bullshitter, But ocasionally it is nice to sit back and listen to a true professional......So, Carry on.

I'm going to try to call a coyote in close so I can shoot it with one of my new pistols on Thursdays.
Our trees what few we have ore at there best.
It has been many years. Most years they freeze and not turn, or snow brakes them off.
This is the warmest OCT ever.
After the driest spring and summer Great Falls is at 135% for moisture and it has all been in the form of rain.
Bear what do you do with an elk if you shoot one?
Beer

I have help to quarter and carry/drag to truck, then to processor.  No atv allowed on public land.

Our herd is small, 1,500 animals and concentrated in the central mountains of the Appalachians.  But we do have the world record bull roaming around.  The animals are pretty smart, and they can go on private property to be protected.

I didn't draw a tag this year.  For the one-week general season to run Oct. 31-Nov. 5, 31 antlered and 70 antlerless tags.  95% success.

We've only had 8" so far this year total of a normal 11.5"

I'm not sure where we are as far as this year but this spring and early summer was really wet. Then it dried up like normal. About the middle of July everything was mostly brown. Then in mid September it started raining again. We actually had a little green grass the opening week of deer/antelope season.
