Yes - great cartridge.  I have an S & W 657 with 6" regular barrel & a S & W 58 with 4" of course.  I use 210 SWC in the 58 & all sorts of bullets in the 657.  657 is very accurate & easy recoiling.  Hopefully you reload & will be able to take advantage of this caliber.

I used to own a Model 57 back in the '70's.  Had the 8 & 3/8" barrel and was nickel.   Great cartridge in a great gun.

Somebody better call the Secret Service. Let 'em know there's an illegal alien in the White House...and it ain't the cook!!

Is it for sale NL? I used to have one and about three days after I got rid of it, I didn't know that I liked it so much...........Kingpin

It's probably the last wheelgun that I'd part with...

My other big Smith & Wesson... WWI 2nd Model Hand-Ejector in .455 Colt...

Ruger Security Six .357 Mag "snubby":

Look at this weird hybird: S&W Model 15 with a Model 686 stainless 6" barrel installed with adjustable front site:

A wise choice NL, and along with the .41, I really like .357's too. No problem, when the idea bites me I will buy one at a gunshow. Yours looks nice, do you like those rubber grips? They always seem so slim in my hand...........................Kingpin
