Anyone using Sub-sonic 22 LR ammo?

Just wondering what brand is accurate.  So far I haven't found one that shoots well in my rifles.

You may not in a rifle.
I have read regular 22 long rifle 22's are already slowing down before they clear the barrel.
The boys LOVES then in his revolver S&W I think.
I don't know the brand off hand, I think maybe it is a green something box with s Bee on it??
The subsonic are like shorts with a 40 gr bullet.
They seam to really kill gophers and rabbits.
Like the old BP stuff slow with a big hunk of lead.

Aguila makes a 60 grain, so-called, sniper bullet. Accuracy is sometimes poor...I've heard. But, im pretty sure that it is sub.sonic

tried the Aguila  60 grain.  The isea was good, keep some energy by using a heavier bullet.

But they don't shoot well in my CZ,  maybe need a different twist.

Normal high velocity 22 LR hit their max velocity at 16" barrel, so a 20" barrel actually slows the bullet muzzle velocity down.  Some of the sub sonics, will not make it out of a 24" barrel....ouch.
