Rokons are cool. Do you like it as much as the 4 wheeler?
It looks like a great time. It was smokey here today. I assume it was the same smoke. Our weather comes from your direction.

Wing I farted out there too did you catch a whiff???
HA Ha ha! Rokon is fun, it will never be able to replace a 4wheeler. We ren in the middle gear most the time 18 mph was about top speed which is fine. It was all loose large sharp rocks for 90% of the trip and very steep. The Honda will stay hooked up to the motor idling in granny going down hill. You use the motor to keep it under control the Rokon clutch lets go at an idle and you have to use brakes. It did just what we wanted and it is fun to run but you HAVE to drive all the time with the big fat front tire powered all the time and it wont turn around on a one lane road, long turning radius. Our plan is mainly to use it in the boat... We can lode it in and use it when we get someplace it under 300 pounds.

"do they spook and fly or just try to walk away???"
Blue/dusky grouse will spook if you rush them. If they can they will try to sneak away on the ground. Theses were dusky that's what they changed there name too as a subspecies. Franklin grouse or fools hen are hard to make fly even after you shoot a few of them. We have ran up on them and killed them with a stick. Both are rather stupid and are harder to find then to shoot.

I'm pretty sure that fart went south of us.
I've always liked the idea of a Rocon but I think a 4 wheeler would be better for carrying out deer sized game.
