Ok, I am trying to decide what scope I want on top of my Ruger m77/50. My dad is buying another one, so the one with the sweet trigger is mine. Right now it has a POS Redfield 2.5x20 on it that I want to upgrade to something better. This is, of course, for hunting in New Hampshire during our short little muzzleloader season. I am open to all thoughts. Please try to keep the price down though . After this whole Ruger m77mk2 Frontier and hunting stuff, I don't know how much money I will have left over for optics on the muzzleloader.

optics not legal on muzzleloaders for big game hunting here... so, can't help ya.

probably want a scope that is really, super bright so you can see right thru all that smoke when you shoot. put a nightforce 5.5-22x56 on and see if that solves your problem.

Hunting is not a matter of life or death; it is much more important than that.
