I slipped out with Steve and checked out some P dogs. One town was out standing a month ago but is all grown over this time. WE got some but nothing like it was. Both using 22 250 52 gr Berger's.
Next town we found very vibrant and crowed with pups and adults. The ground cover was well groomed and more shooting than we had time or shells for.
Town three.
It is my super secret dog town that is many miles long, a million dogs, no really.
By now we are beat two old guys and 95* we did not walk "Down" in to it.
We stayed up on top and sniped down on them.
This time we where running light, I had the 30 Russian and Steve had his 22 mag. It limited us to 200 and under but there was no shortage of targets in that range. We shot all but one shell each that we packed out with us. Gota keep one for the walk out "Just In Case".
328 miles and a hundred ish each shells fired, how can you complain about that?Clap

Sounds good.  remember to leave some breeding stock.

Would the snow dog make that more accesible??

Any trail you can use a 4wheeler on with a trail pass, and any snowmobile trail with a pass of course.
Any BLM marked trail or road that you don't want to pound tour truck on. A lot of Forest roads will be ok too. Like this one...
