Have we changed the maximum size a pic can be. If i remember it used to be 250 kbs max but now it says 20 kbs max or at least that's what it says when i was trying to add some pics. I just wondered as to how small the pics are going to be with a 20 kb size limit?

hey, gary -

we're having some space problems with the BSB server. tex is working ahrd to get this taken care of and in the meantime we've really had to limit the size of uploaded pix.

a good alternative is to open an account at http://www.photobucket.com - www.photobucket.com and upload your pix there. it's very easy and user-friendly and pix uploaded there can be posted here regardless of size.

I changed the upload max size to 100kb this morning. I think this should alleviate the uploading issue.

I really feel that 100kb is pretty reasonable. Tas posted some instructions on how to resize photos that should help you get things under the limit.

Tas. I got it figured out except i don't know how to post multiple pics at once. I usually post my reply, get another pic, edit, add another pic, post reply, get another pic, edit, etc etc.

if you're using photobucket, it should be easy. just copy/paste the url of the photo with {img} in font of it and {/img} behind it (use brackets [ and ] without the shift key, rather than the curley ones i just used). for instance:

Quote here's an elk that i got:

{img}picture address.jpg{/img}

and here's a bear charging me while i was field dressing the elk:

{img}picture address.jpg{/img}

and here's my hunting "buddy" after i took the camera away and beat him senseless with it:

{img}picture address.jpg{/img}

give that a try
