You are no stranger to handling Fur for sure! 240 rats in a season is a bunch. I think the best i ever did on rats was about 120 or so in a season. It was alot of fun, but always had people and Pets screwin with my sets so i give it up. My 92 Toyota is the tacoma style with an x-cab, those toyotas are some runnin sons a B's, Very Dependable!  What kind of $$$ are you getting for your Cats out that way? The Market should be fairly strong for that item again next season, But i've never seen a Cat from that region of the country, how do they look? It is fun to call em in isn't it. I sure look forward to hunting season every year, I just wish the season was a little longer ya know?

That year I was "rattin," my brother helped as well as my dad.  Hell of a haul, best we ever did.  Two lines at the same time, usually had 6 to 9 rats a night for a good long while.  Twernt many others tapping that year I guess.

Cain't tell you to much bout the cat's here, the one's I've run into caught me first.  Guess I'm settin up wrong, Did see a big one though, I was on my deer stand and she walked right out infront of me.  BIG was my first impression, darn thing was well over 40lbs, that one looked awful sandy colored.  I've seen some real white orange'ish ones, clear lines, beautiful animals.  Sneaky little buggers, I haven't seen one come out in the open yet.  We've had an outbreak of them lately.  The last couple of years put a real hurtin on the redhawk population, cut them down near 80+%.  I think that's why there's so many cat's.
