When it turns to "5 o'clock someplace"  My mind and tongue think Vodka martini, very dry up with an olive.  Well, after travelin most of Aug-Oct I found myself without my usual potatoe vodka. and it was 5:30.

So with a very dry mouth, I examined the liquor cabinet!  Concockion was upon me.  So I took a nice rolly-poly glass one ice cube and added some M&R sweet vermouth.  delicious.

Well, now I found out I'd invented nothing..theis drink is called a RobRoy.

Named after a Scotsman who would be that country's Robin Hood.

If you are not a Jacobite, you might never heard of him.  worth a read....with your mitt on a glass.

I'm NOT a fan of Vodka but I dislike scotch a lot.
RUM on the other hand,...
