Travis went to South Dakota  for his .

I got to share with my grandson getting his first Whitetail buck . He used my Tikka 695 in 270,dropped him in his tracks at 180 yards . Then since I wasn't with him when he got his mulie,he got a lesson and did well with the gutting.

Thanks guy's . I have been blessed getting to help him get that first one ,he worked hard for it, crashed hard every night.  He's been coming here with us for a few years  ,he kept passing on smaller buck's but he caved in for this 10 point.  Plus he was really taken when I pulled this special Buck knife out of my pocket and handed it to him to gut it with. It was part of the memory of his Uncle Jerr, who you all know we lost in 2009. They were almost inseparable when Ty was young.
He'd been fighting 6 tips were broken.  I'm sure you guys can understand the feeling of seeing him get it, I think I was more excited than if I'd taken it myself .. LOL
