So I was out doing a little jackrabbit hunting and also helping a friend set up a blind for archery antelope. All I had was a 22 rimfire when I jumped this coyote. He made the big mistake of stopping to look back as less than 50 yards. Knuckle head coyote didn't know who he was dealing with when he stopped like that. I guess word hasn't reached the Utah coyotes yet that there is a new sheriff in town. Anyone he is the first coyote I've ever killed with a 22 rimfire. One shot through the lungs and he only trotted about 10 yards and fell over stone dead.

Bear, I don't know. It was cheap beat up old truck gun my partner had in his pick up. I could hardly see through the Walmart Blue Light Special scope he had on it. That coyote was just meant to die as the rifle and scope were archaic at best.

looks like one big red wolf.  nice pelt.

Well, guess that proves any gun works, no custom barrels needed.
