I have noticed that it may be an acquired taste, but bourbon and cheerios do not mix. I mean, you feel obligated to finish eating them even though they taste like.....Even make the bourbon in the bowl taste funky! I think it's time to start trying out others. Anybody have a favorite?

Thinking strawberry miniwheats tomorrow.
...oh yeah! thats gonna hurt!

When I eat breakfast these are what I eat   Hodgson Mils Steel cut Oats.  Not Waders, not gunpowder!

Very slow to cook.  but lots of grit/fiber.

Small disclaimer with that one Bear. Low heat when heating the oatmeal to temp as the alcohol is flammable and can light with relative ease....even on an electric smooth top! Done with Fireball, raisins and brown sugar...yummy!
