Problem.

Trying to decide what is my gun for gophers this year
(not buying anything new, except ammo). so present
choices are:

1) The Olde Lady Blondie-10-22, she is 'experienced and
accurate.

2)   remington 572 Fieldmaster slide action, here in the
east we call them thar rifles pump guns. Fun to shoot
and working the action give me something to do between
shots. Had this on about 45 years. Tubular magazine is
slow loading but holds lots.

3) New kid the CZ 452 Fs. seems accurate. Not sure
what ammo she likes the best. Never killed a gopher,
but she can learn. Bolt gun, slow fire.

My grandpa had a navy deck gun too.
I think it could have been a Remington??
A pump 22 long rifle . it was fun and shot fairly well If I remember right.
I do remember the firing pin would always brake.
he kept a box of them in the glove box of the station wagon so we could replace it out shooting.
Fun memory's bear thanks
I would bring old blondie and the newbie , for training.

BEAR;

I'll also say bring both. But come early enough & we can
do some range testing with the new CZ. I may be able to
come up with a couple of varieties of .22 ammo to try.
Besides, she'll meet the kinfolk.

Will do CB, you'll like her.

MYGAWDS history seems to recall that the pmp Rem made the
first 2 MYGAWDS events; and the 9.3 CZ was there for all
to shoot the first box of shells through her.

So there is historical reasons to take the Full stock CZ,
and I like her!

Depends on whether or not the gopher in question is a
zombie or not. You should know that!
