The countdown continues,  Market indicators are still lookin good, No holdover from last season and continued strong demand for most goods. Should be a year to remember. Beaver is still struggling a bit. Coyote , Fox and Bobcat still looking as good as last season, maybe even slightly better  on Red Fox and Heavy Pale Coyote. Buyers will be on the alert for damaged Fur,and will be paying top dollar for excellent handled Heavy Prime goods. Heading out to the Shop to make a few more Stretchers. Take Care All.  Blaine

Hey blaine,

Whats a bobcat worth?  They got ton's of them here in Kansas - don't rightly hunt them, as you already know I'm just a clean up crew fer some land thets overrun with yotes.

Spotshooter

I spoke with a Feller a while back from Witchita,  He told me he averaged near $200 on his cats last season,  On the Utah Trappers sale last year, cats averaged $270, but i heard that the real money went to the Ex Large goods and very good put up. Iv'e never seen a Kansas Cat, but a real good source for info would be with the Kansas Trappers Associations.
