How many of ya folks take the 4x4 back and set up a tent?

One of the thing's I think I'll be doin', in the future after I find some places of my own to hunt.

What "trail" truck tools to you bring in the way of jacks, winches, saw's, ....

I used to. I'd set up on log landings on dead end roads or off of a USFS road somewhere. I'd always bring my chainsaw, gas, and oil so I could cut downed stuff for firewood and stay warm and comfy in my tent.

Other than that it was just regular camping stuff. I'd bring my own water in 5 gallon jugs.

I answered the arrow question, I think I mentioned BH too.

I was in Canada last week. Went up to a ranch in BC with a bunch of people and 10 horses for a cross country riding camp.  The people that rode in it (my wife was one) were teaching their horses, and in some case themselves, more about jumping over solid obstacle fences, down banks, across diches, and into water.

Before that we went to Colorado to help out a friend at a competition down there and that took about a week. We went through Yellowstone on the way back.

I'm trying to get my ponies in shape, get tuned up on my archery, and get stuff done around the place, mowing, moving piles of composted horse sh*t, and such.
