Those ole beauties are hard to find in my neck of the woods... best I can find is a nice Model 27 with pinned barrel & recessed cylinder....

A buddy just picked up a nice Model 27 4" set up like above. I don't have one, though... only an early Model 19 with recessed cylinder... would like to get a Model 28 4" with recessed cylinder, though. Ya gotta love a .357 on an "N" frame!

How about some pics of yours?

Elmer Keith... now there was a man who knew how to get the most out of his wheel guns.. We also gotta be thankful for it was he that really got the 'magnums' introduced, too.

Nothing like launching a few 'barn burners' from a wheel gun...

NL

You sure have some beauties... Both rifles and handguns... Just a thought... reloading for such a variety of "toys" would keep you occupied in the Winter months so you can shoot when the sun is out.

BTW it is too hot now to spend much time reloading now until late September. It is a cool 105 deg today.

Hey Mauserman;

I see you're locating yourself in Butte on your by-line.  Did you move or is it wishful thinking?  I know you've always said you want to get back to Montana, but did you get it accomplished?

If so, perhaps you & Rob & I could get together at the Helena range?
