Spot Shooter I was reading your topic but it was closed, so I started another topic. I have the Petzl zipka headlamp that has 3 LED's in it. It lasts a long time and is very bright close up. I like it also because its so compact you can carry it in your pocket. One thing though it would be a good Idea to have something like a Princeton tec blast to see distance. You see close up quite well but without any great distance. Hope this helps. |

There is a new Zipka out with four LEDs and variable brightness. They are the greatest little lights around.

Tas it looks like its too late to go back as its now active on this thread. Pedro, that sounds a lot better than mine. It seems whatever you have keeps getting improved upon a good thing also. I have a Tec blast that burnt out a bulb. Every body was raving about the sure fire e2e. I got it and its fantastic. Whilst on my Queensland hunt I produced it to some other hunters at night, they had maglites, well they were in awe at what this little light could do, so was I. The only thing is it doesn't last very long, not like the LED's.
