Ok, I've been bitten. I'll be joining the local indoor range May 1st, that's the next opening for joining, and I've been up there fiddling aroung with a freind. I'm getting hooked on the 5 point targets and for a newcomer I am surprising myself. First round I got a 227/300 then I put on a better rest and a smaller peep and made a 257/300.

Of course I'm sure MrMom's kids are getting close to all 300's with 50 some X's, but hey, I'm new!!

Stupid people are like a slinky, they don't serve much purpose in the world but they sure are fun to watch tumble down the stairs!

bk: the only problem with the smaller peep is if you go to use it for hunting you will loose alot of light. you have to go bigger. indoors is ok. and your score will get better with FATTER arrows . you will break more lines.

Al, as to the peep, I shoot with both eyes open and I really don't feel if changes much except helping me to zero in on the pin better. Even with my skinny little carbons I shot a 274 with 24X this morning but I would have picked up a couple extra points had I used fatter Aluminums. Sadly, that is better than my friend who has a new martin with a magnifier that has been shooting for years Beginners luck??
