Take your ground venison and put it in a skillet with a chopped onion and a minced garlic clove. Chop up a seeded jalapeno pepper in there too if you like it. Use enough olive oil to brown it well breaking it up as you go. When done but not hard sprinkle in a package or two of Taco seasoning.
In a baking dish make a layer of Fritos in the bottom, spread your meat over that and make another layer of fritos on the top. Cover with grated American cheese and run it in the oven at @300 until the cheese is nice and melted.

This is a take off on the old tamale pie recipe.
